Race in Pacific Northwest. Crossed Atlantic. Completed the Van Isle 360 2023. Delivered boats from San Francisco to Cabo, and from northern Spain to Faro. Safety at sea 2023, coastal navigation. Own boat that I cruise in summer in local BC waters. |

Sailing is my passion. I have been yacht racing all my life, and predominantly the past 20 years. I am from Hamble le Rice in the UK. I live mostly between Mexico and The States. Race experience: 15 years in the Caribbean race season regattas on a Mum 36, South coast UK, Dubai yacht club races, Newport RI and West coast States, Australia, SA, on various boats. I work on yachts so always up for helping out with any prep/maintenance etc also. I usually crew as Spinnaker/Headsail trimmer, and happy to do pit or Main trim.' Most of my racing experience is on 28ft. sailboats on the Columbia river, Portland Oregon. As crew members on these smaller boats we participate in sail preparation and rigging of main, jib/genoa, and spinnaker sails. My experience includes mostly trimming of main and jib sails. In the 2023 BBR I helped with jib trim and spinnaker take down on a Beneteau.. |
